PLOWS Council on Aging is proud to celebrate individuals and organizations making an impact for older adults. Please learn more about our community partners through these stories.

Arab American Family Services (AAFS) was founded 19 years ago to support specific social service needs and the nonprofit builds bridges with other community-based organizations to educate, empower and advocate for others.

Public libraries are continuing to evolve as the community hub and often serve as an important link to help older adults avoid social isolation. Chicago Ridge Public Library partners with PLOWS to host community events and distribute information about community resources.
