Create a Power of Attorney and Living Will At No Cost to You

Seniors and caregivers will learn about and complete documents for assigning Power of Attorney and creating a Living Will with the help of the Center for Disability and Elder Law.  During the workshop session a team of attorney volunteers will complete Power of Attorney and Living Will documents during pre-scheduled one-on-one private appointments.  These documents protect you in the event that you become incapacitated temporarily or permanently in the future.  The attorneys will answer specific questions, make sure you are legally protected, and your wishes are followed.  There is no charge for this seminar and workshop series, however you must register to participate.  Participants must attend both the educational seminar on Thursday, March 29 at 1:00PM and the workshop on April 18 at 1:00PM.  Both events take place at the Salvation Army, 2900 W Burr Oak in Blue Island.  To register call PLOWS at (708)361-0219.
